My name is Emma Lipsky.  I am originally from Jacksonville, Florida, but moved to Gainesville for college.  I earned my Bachelors and Masters Degrees from the University of Florida.  I will always be a Gator!  This is my fourth year at Stephen Foster.  I interned at Foster in 2008, have taught 5th grade and 3rd grade.

Favorite holiday:  Thanksgiving
 

Favorite picture books:  Flotsam by David Weisner and Diary of a Wombat by Jackie French

Favorite chapter book: City of Ember by Jeanne DuPrau

Favorite subject in school:  math
 

Favorite Disney Classic movie:  Aladdin or Beauty and the Beast
 

Favorite TV Show: "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" (Those questions are tough!)
 

Hobbies:  reading, shopping, cooking, going to Gator football and basketball games, travelling

Fears:  spiders and large bugs (all arthropods probably)

Fun Fact: Ms. Lipsky's sister, the other Ms. Lipsky, also teaches 3rd grade in Jacksonville, FL.
